TRUFUEL GUARANTEE
One of the issues we often see when working on small engines is the problems caused by using old gas. Accustomed to our vehicle’s ability to sit with old gas for extended periods of time, we tend to assume that the same applies to our small engines as well. This is incorrect.
Generally speaking, when considering whether the gas in your machine is too old, you want to use the yardstick of the “milk in your refrigerator” rather than the “gas in your family car” to make that calculation.
Frequently, repair shops will service your machine, fill it with regular gas, and dutifully start it up for the customer when they come to retrieve their property. Unfortunately, when they go to start the machine up two months later, the customer is confronted with clogged carburetors, damaged seals, and lawn equipment that fail to perform.
As such, our TruFuel Guarantee means that your machine will not only start when you come pick it up, but it will still work six months later when you are ready to use it on your lawn.
Frequently Asked Questions
30 - 60 Days.
Keeping gas in an engine, unused, for an extended period of time, eats away at the metal and/or plastic that carburetors are made from.
On average, it takes about a week for us to properly diagnose the issue, and to order the particular parts needed for repair. Once parts arrive, it takes another few days to finish the repair. Keeping parts on hand for ALL makes and models is untenable.
When moving your machine, take care to ensure that you're always tilting the machine towards the oil spout - this will prevent oil from flowing into the carburetor.
